The staff and doctors at Animal Care Hospital are passionate about dentistry. Periodontal disease is the most common clinical problem in dogs and cats over three years of age.   In addition to bad breath, periodontal disease causes systemic disease such as heart, liver, and kidney infections.  We believe that routine dental exams and professional cleanings are an important part of your pets’ preventative health care program. Pets, like humans, with healthy mouths typically live longer healthier lives.

There is a difference in the dental care services provided at Animal Care Hospital. We see both routine and referral dental cases and are always happy to spend the extra time to make sure that your pet receives the best veterinary care.  Both Drs. Stephen and Melanie have received extensive training in anesthesia and dentistry.  Dr. Stephen Galloway  is a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC) with board-certification in the Non Species Specific/Small Animal Dentistry Specialty.
